There are many gray factors in defining what a character stands for or what they represent. In addition, there are many crossovers that prevent characters from representing one ideal completely. However, when one looks at the journey and goals of Selina and Silla one can see a shape to their existence that allows one to recognize their categorization. It is by comparison that one is able to see that Deighton does not fit into any category leaving him a displaced person with fading identity. This fading identity is representative of the losses suffered to heritage by an immigrating people.
