Economics, War and Politics: The Dysfunctional Relationship Between America and France
This paper will explain how the growing dysfunction between the United States and France are based upon economic and militaristic issues, and in a secondary manner, on politics. America has a solid ground in the Middle East through Saudi Arabian oil, and but does not wish to rest their economic and military interests there alone. By actively invading Iraq without the consent of the United Nations, it is clear that the greater military and economic powers of the Americans are taking control of IraqÂ’s natural resources.
