Knowledge and Trust Formation in the Development of Inter-Organizational Networks
A discussion, drawing from three academic articles, of the various approaches to the development of inter-organizational cooperation. The paper discusses trust-building and such issues as whether reciprocity is a necessary condition for trust to occur. It also deals with the basic issues surrounding knowledge creation and transfer from one cooperating organization to another.
