This paper discusses tips for teaching ESL students. Teaching ESL in early childhood should begin with a classroom willing to remove bias or hatred of different ethnic or cultural backgrounds. The students need to be accepted by their peers. A teacher must be willing to take risks and use different teaching methods, because what will work for one may not work for others. This paper will discuss teacher movements, physical demonstrations, lesson plan adaptations, and modeling in order to reach ESL students and motivate them to be all they can be.
