This paper will examine the concept of the psychotic qualities found in the character of Freddie Clegg from the film adaptation of John Fowles' "The Collector". The character of Clegg can be seen to exhibit several of the symptoms that classify him as a psychopath. The book "Without Conscience; The Disturbing World of the Psychopaths Among Us" by Robert D.
