Playboy Magazine is the number one men’s magazine with more than three million readers, and featuring general interest and lifestyle articles from renowned authors, celebrity interviews, fiction, and “Playmate” centerfolds. The company’s brand image has been solid and clear since the publication’s inception in December 1953, developing over the past half-century into a corporate name as recognizable and iconographic as Disney, IBM, or Coca-Cola, a brand identified with the whole of American culture. This paper discusses different parts of the Playboy Magazine.
