This paper discusses the patient analysis of a woman who has suffered a stroke and appears to be depressed with crying spells. She has trouble speaking and concentrating which are normal symptoms from a stroke. The paper discusses suggested treatment for this woman. Statistics show that stroke patients taking antidepressants live longer. An important part of the treatment plan is follow-up.
