Emergence of Revolutionary Movements in Latin America
This paper examens the question of why revolutionary movements emerge in Latin America and notes the influence of the successful BCuban Revolution on subsequent movements a well as the problems faced by the people of Latin America living under repressive regimes, the relative ease of starting a revolutionary movement under such circumstances, and the mistakes the United States made in supporting repressive regimes in order to prevent the spread of Communism.
