What rights do teenagers have in a family custody dispute
In modern Canadian society, divorce is commonplace. In many cases parents decide on the custody of the children, while in some cases the courts have to intervene when the parents cannot reach agreement. When the law dictates custody, it is governed by the principle of protecting the best interests of the children. The courts try to do their best, yet what it comes down to is that the lives of these children are arranged by strangers.
