Euro-Supremacist Discourse of Expansionism and Conquest as Racism.
While the age of empires is apparently long past, this essay will argue that the racist discourse that came into being to reinforce this imperialism remains in existence today. This issue of imperialist/racist discourse, it will be seen, is important as it functions just as powerfully, yet more subtlety, than the racist colonialism of the past in constructing people of non-European backgrounds as inferior. 5 pgs.
