Repercussions of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake
This paper is a survey of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, including an overview of the following: the seismic causes and aftermath of the earthquake, one of the most devastating natural disasters in U.S. history. Also examined are geologic theories and data that arose from the event, as well as repercussions from the human disaster caused by the earthquake and ensuing fire.
