Study Notes for Examination City Lives and City Forms.
This paper is written about how people see things differently and when they write about the experience it is written from their point of view. Educated people tend to have very different ideas as to what is acceptable, or what is intolerable, than people of other backgrounds who actually live within a particular neighborhood. The appearances of a neighborhood, or area, can be quite deceiving. The idea here is that researchers bring biases of their own to urban research.
