Gender roles have traditionally been represented as inevitable consequences of the biological differences between the sexes. In this view, girls are simply born to be dominated, while men are born to dominate. Men are also seen as having such a high sex drive that their penises almost think for themselves – witness the colloquial male expression “I was thinking with my little head” (meaning “dick head”).
